Tables
Insert a table, set rows and columns, merge cells, and give borders and cell backgrounds their own colours.
Images
PremiumDrop in JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF and PDF. Resize on the page, or let text wrap around them.
Styles
Paragraph and character styles, so a heading stays a heading through the whole document.
Headers and footers
Free-form headers and footers with automatic page numbers and dates.
Lists
Bulleted and numbered lists that renumber themselves as you write.
Columns and breaks
Multi-column text, plus page, section and layout breaks where you want them.
Find with regex
The find panel takes regular expressions, not just literal strings.
Live word count
Words and characters counted as you type, not on demand.
Autosave and backups
Work is saved as you go, and date-stamped backups are kept alongside the document.
Files
Nothing is locked in
Documents are saved as RTF and RTFD by default — formats that Word, Pages, TextEdit and Google Docs all open. If this app disappeared tomorrow, every file you made with it would still open.
